Lenins Jewish Roots Celebrated

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110524/ap_on_re_eu/eu_russia_lenin_s_secrets

MOSCOW – For the first time ever, ordinary Russians can now see documents that appear to confirm long-standing rumors that Vladimir Lenin had Jewish heritage.

In a country long plagued by anti-Semitism, such heritage can be a significant taint, especially for the founder of the Soviet Union who is still revered by many elderly Russians.

Among dozens of newly released documents on display at the State History Museum is a letter written by Lenin's eldest sister, Anna Ulyanova, saying that their maternal grandfather was a Ukrainian Jew who converted to Christianity to escape the Pale of Settlement and gain access to higher education.

"He came from a poor Jewish family and was, according to his baptismal certificate, the son of Moses Blank, a native of (the western Ukrainian city of) Zhitomir," Ulyanova wrote in a 1932 letter to Josef Stalin, who succeeded Lenin after his death in 1924.

"Vladimir Ilych had always thought of Jews highly," she wrote. "I am very sorry that the fact of our origin — which I had suspected before — was not known during his lifetime."

Under czarist rule, most Jews were allowed permanent residence only in a restricted area that became known as the Pale of Settlement which included much of present-day Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Moldova, Ukraine and parts of western Russia.

Many Jews joined the Bolsheviks to fight rampant anti-Semitism in czarist Russia and some were among the leaders of the Communist Party when it took power after the 1917 Revolution. Most prominent among them was Leon Trotsky, whose real name was Bronstein.

But Lenin, who was born Vladimir Ilych Ulyanov in 1870, identified himself only as Russian. He took Lenin as his nom de guerre in 1901 while in Siberian exile near the Lena River.

A brief period of promotion of Jewish culture that began under Lenin ended in the early 1930s when Stalin orchestrated anti-Semitic purges among Communists and hatched a plan to relocate all Soviet Jews to a region on the Chinese border.

Ulyanova asked Stalin to make Lenin's Jewish heritage known to counter the rise of anti-Semitism. "I hear that in recent years anti-Semitism has been growing stronger again, even among Communists," she wrote. "It would be wrong to hide the fact from the masses."

Stalin ignored the plea and ordered her to "keep absolute silence" about her letter, according to the exhibition's curator, Tatyana Koloskova.

Lenin's official biography, written by his niece Olga Ulyanova, said his family had only Russian, German and Swedish roots.

The letter from Lenin's sister became available to Russian historians in the early 1990s, but its authenticity was fiercely disputed. It was chosen for inclusion in the exhibit by Koloskova, who as director of the State History Museum's branch dedicated to Lenin is one of the most authoritative scholars on his life.

The exhibition in the museum on Red Square, near the mausoleum where Lenin's body still lies, also discloses that he was in such misery after suffering a stroke in 1922 that he asked Stalin to bring him poison.

"He did not incidentally pick Stalin to fulfill this request," Lenin's youngest sister, Maria Ulyanova, wrote in a 1922 diary entry. "He knew Comrade Stalin as a steadfast Bolshevik, straight and devoid of any sentimentality. Who else would dare to end Lenin's life?"

Initially, Stalin promised to help Lenin, but other Politburo members decided to turn down his request, the letter says. Trotsky, whom Stalin forced out of the Soviet Union, claimed in his memoirs that Stalin had poisoned Lenin.

The 111 documents on display, many of them only recently declassified and all of them open to the public for the first time, give surprising insights into top figures of the Soviet Union. Men usually portrayed as stern and fearless are seen as sometimes whimsical, frightened and even despairing.

One of the documents contains a desperate plea that Stalin received in 1934 from an arrested Communist leader, Lev Kamenev, whose real name was Rosenfeld.

"At a time when my soul is filled with nothing but love for the party and its leadership, when, having lived through hesitations and doubts, I can boldly say that I learned to highly trust the Central Committee's every step and every decision you, Comrade Stalin, make," Kamenev wrote. "I have been arrested for my ties to people that are strange and disgusting to me."

Stalin ignored this letter, too, and Kamenev was executed in 1936.

A slightly more humorous — but no less macabre — aspect of the exhibition is caricatures drawn by Politburo members.

Nikolai Bukharin, a leading Communist ideologue, depicts Stalin with a giant, exaggerated nose and his trademark pipe. His portrayal of other Communists is also unflattering — one is shown as a White Army officer. The anti-Communist White Army, which was backed by Western powers, unsuccessfully fought Lenin's Red Army in a civil war from 1917-23.

Prominent economist Valery Mezhlauk ridicules Trotsky as a Wandering Jew and depicts a finance minister hanging in an awkward position. In a handwritten note under the latter caricature, Stalin recommends that the minister be hanged by his testicles.

The minister and both cartoonists were arrested and executed in 1938.

The exhibition, which opened last week, runs through July 3.

People Getting Angry

People are getting angry.

Nationalists and the people are being persecuted and repressed by the left wing / Liberal Stalinists.

The Left have imposed their morality on society.

But the era of liberal left degeneracy will be countered by radicals arising from the far right.

That is how history works.

First one radical sect rises to power then the antithesis.

Thus it always was and is.

The Law and the Judges

The fact the judges in America are taking this sort of action reveals there are too many laws and too many politicians passing laws that imprison people.

The politicians need to change the laws, not the judges or the media.

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/wire/sc-dc-0524-court-prisons-web-20110523,0,5716379.story

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court ordered California on Monday to release tens of thousands of its prisoners to relieve overcrowding, saying that "needless suffering and death" had resulted from putting too many inmates into facilities that cannot hold them in decent conditions.

It is one of the largest prison release orders in the nation's history, and it sharply split the high court.

Justices upheld an order from a three-judge panel in California that called for releasing 38,000 to 46,000 prisoners. Since then, the state has transferred about 9,000 state inmates to county jails. As a result, the total prison population is now about 32,000 more than the capacity limit set by the panel.

Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, speaking for the majority, said California's prisons had "fallen short of minimum constitutional requirements" because of overcrowding. As many as 200 prisoners may live in gymnasium, he said, and as many as 54 prisoners share a single toilet.

Kennedy insisted that the state had no choice but to release more prisoners. The justices, however, agreed that California officials should be given more time to make the needed reductions.

In dissent, Justice Antonin Scalia called the ruling "staggering" and "absurd."

He said the high court had repeatedly overruled the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals for ordering the release of individual prisoners. Now, he said, the majority were ordering the release of "46,000 happy-go-lucky felons." He added that "terrible things are sure to happen as a consequence of this outrageous order." Justice Clarence Thomas agreed with him.

In a separate dissent, Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. and Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. said the ruling conflicted with a federal law intended to limit the power of federal judges to order a release of prisoners.

State officials and lawyers for inmates differ over just how many prisoners will have to be released. In recent figures, the state said it had about 142,000 inmates behind bars, and the judges calculated the prison population would need to be reduced to about 110,000 to comply with constitutional standards.

Kennedy said the judges in California overseeing the prison-release order should "accord the state considerable latitude to find mechanisms and make plans" that are "consistent with the public safety."

The American Civil Liberties Union said the court had "done the right thing" by addressing the "egregious and extreme overcrowding in California's prisons."

David Fathi, director of the ACLU national prison project, said "reducing the number of people in prison not only would save the state taxpayers half a billion annually, it would lead to the implementation of truly rehabilitative programs that lower recidivism rates and create safer communities."

Meanwhile, the court took no action on another California case in which a conservative group is challenging the state's policy of granting in-state tuition at its colleges and universities to students who are illegal immigrants and have graduated from its high schools.

The justices said they would consider the appeal in a later private conference.

Do Not Mess With This Old White Guy

There are some old white guys out there that you just really do not want to mess with.

In my twenties when I was a life guard in a local pool where I lived, a certain old chap used to come swimming every week during the OAP sessions in the early morning - he was built like a bulldog, small, barrel chested and strutted like an angry rooster in his speedo trunks and goggles.

He radiated energy and confidence.

This old guy was in his late seventies and used to do about sixty lengths a time of the swimming pool without a break - and used to leave the pool without even being puffed out.

Aross his chest were three small round, despressed holes in his flesh.

From the front they were about the size of a five pence peice whilst from his back there were exit wounds about the size of a ten pence coin.

These were bullet wounds where he had been shot with a German machine gun during the war when he was a Marine Commando.

Some guys just remain tough bastards until the last tick of the clock.

YOU KNOW WHO and the Law

Everyone knew it was you know who who was banging that Welsh bird weeks ago.

You hardly needed to be Sherlock Holmes to uncover that crime.

The right of the rich to buy privacy, and for the poor to be silenced, is not a law that should ever be tolerated in a free, fair and equal society.

You insert your penis into something or someone you know you should not be inserting your penis into - then do not expect the law to protect you from ridicule and exposure if that is discovered.

Keep it in your pants in the first place and save yourself a load of money, hassle and inconvenience.

Boris , Ken The Prisons Problem

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/borisjohnson/8529726/Why-I-agree-with-Ken-Clarke-we-shouldnt-just-lock-them-up.html

The entire prisons system needs scrapping and rebuilt.

Prisons should be divided into 3 independent systems based on three different categories of prisoners ;

1) Habitual and Violent Criminals where the emphasis of the prison regime is working for their keep, compensating victims, financially supporting their own families and the deprivation of liberty as a punishment.

2) Drug, Mental Health and Alcohol Offenders where the deprivation of liberty as a punishment exists in prison regimes with the emphasis on treatment, health monitoring, ending addictions and compulsory treatment of mental health issues.

3) Social Criminals - such as ex-soldiers many of whom are suffering psychological problems related to PTSD , Drink Drivers, first time offenders eg theft, welfare benefit fraud, tax fraud etc etc - the emphasis is on work, compensation, changing behaviour and permanent post- prison monitoring via their own doctors and health providers.

Upon conviction each offender, the details of their crime, the social circumstances behind the crimes and their offending history is asssessed and they are allocated to different prisons with different regimes.

Prisons for Habitual Criminals are where the prisoners work and earn a wage and also support their families and pay compensation to their victims.

Prisons for people with mental health, drugs, alcohol issues are places forced treatment - rehabilitation is compulsory such weekly blood tests for drugs, supervised family visits, work training programmes to allow them to re-integrate into society and compulsory drug treatment regimes.

Prisons for the Social Criminals will focus on work regimes but ones where they are not forced to work alongside violent career criminals and which focus on addressing the issues related to their offending.

That way the demands of justice, the rights of victims, re-habilitation and punishment via the deprivation of liberty are all properly and logically assessed and solved with a view to protecting society from future re-offending.

With the restroration of the death penalty for capital offences such as murder via acts of terrorism, importing heroin into Britain or the organised racist gang rape of children by criminal gangs of racist predators - then within a decade we will have solved much of the problems of crime, and what causes crime, in most of British society.

Farming and the Fall Of Man

Taming nature, then man

“Fire was our trump card as a species" and made once weak humans into “the world’s most successful invasive,” said James Scott, kicking off the first of three Tanner Lectures on May 4. Scott directs the Agrarian Studies Program at Yale. His second lecture is May 5 at 4 p.m. at the Lowell Lecture Hall.
.The short version of human history might go something like this: First we were prey, then we were hunter-gatherers, then farmers — and from that came civilization.

Not quite, said James Scott, a celebrated Yale political scientist who delivered the first of the season’s Tanner Lectures on Human Values Wednesday (May 4) in Lowell Lecture Hall. In fact, he said, humankind — attached to foraging — embraced the growing of fixed crops only reluctantly, following millennia of halting and hesitation.

After all, making the transition from nature to civilization required trading a complex system of diverse nutrition and robust health (foraging) for a more regimented style of living that shortened lives and replaced leisure with drudgery (farming). Borrowing a phrase from an earlier scholar, Scott called early hunter-gatherers “the original affluent society.”

But embrace agriculture we did, eventually. It was a step that also made nation-states possible, which in Scott’s view triggered large-scale, authoritarian styles of governance that have — and still do — misguidedly control human enterprise from a central core of power.

As a result, history is littered with the utopian failures of states that use central planning to manage activities like farming, said Scott — often with murderous results. (Think of China’s disastrous Great Leap Forward, for instance, or the Soviet Union’s clumsy collectivist farms.)

Scott, invited to deliver the Tanner Lectures in their 33rd year, directs the Agrarian Studies Program at Yale and is a student of peasant politics, revolution, class relations, and anarchy.

The prestigious Tanner Lectures are delivered by different scholars annually at nine universities in the United States and abroad, the legacy of the late Utah industrialist Obert Tanner. At Harvard, they are sponsored by the Office of the President and by the Mahindra Humanities Center.

Scott has devoted decades of scholarship to investigating authoritarian governance and the coercive state projects that result, including those that are merely irritating (taxes and conscription) to those state projects that are tragic (slavery and warfare). Just the titles of his books speak volumes: “The Art of Not Being Governed” (2009), for instance, or “Seeing Like a State: How Certain Schemes to Improve the Human Condition Have Failed” (1997).

A counterpoint to these coercive states, Scott says in his scholarship, are the various “nonstate peoples” that resist dominance — outsiders of every kind, be they Berbers, bedouins or simply the homeless.

Scott began his first of two Tanner Lectures with a confession: that his books so far have failed to completely explore the oldest state project of them all — “sedentarization,” the attempt by governments of every stripe, in every age, “to assemble rural people on fixed agricultural fields,” corralling them into political bodies that never seem to quite work.

Being corralled this way is an unlikely fate for a species that spent the first 97 percent of its time on Earth as hunter-gatherers, said Scott, a lifestyle in which large-scale governance was impossible. The puzzle is “how we as a species ended up assembled in great clumps,” he said, “growing grain, tending livestock, and governed by the political units we call states and empires.”

But the Tanner Lectures were an inspiration to unravel that puzzle, said Scott, though at “breakneck speed” and without the trappings of scholarship. Today’s (May 5) lecture will be more about those states and empires, he said, but the first — on May 4 — laid out the factors that led humankind reluctantly from free, roaming lives to lives of civilization, stasis, and encirclement around the domus — the ever more important home.

That transition, over millennia, required three “world-shaping” forms of domestication, said Scott — of fire, plants, and animals. And once those three were tamed and contained, so was the fourth; humankind itself, he said, was the last of “Four Domestications,” the title of the first lecture.

Domesticating fire came first and made all the others possible, said Scott. It transformed humans from the object of prey into an emerging dominant species with a source of warmth, light, safety, and cooked food.

Cooking was a revolution that allowed Homo sapiens to reduce its gut, grow its brain, and expand its range of food sources.

Around 500,000 years ago, fire also became humankind’s “greatest tool for reshaping the natural world,” said Scott — a means of transforming land into a diverse, renewed, and fertilized landscape of berry bushes and other sources of food. Fire-blackened fields were still a long way from the grain fields and the livestock pens of a much later era, he added, but they enabled humankind to “surround itself with its needs close at hand” for the first time.

“Fire was our trump card as a species,” said Scott, and made once weak humans into “the world’s most successful invasive.”

That domesticating plants was a strategy for species success is a harder argument to make, he said. For millennia, in fact, farming was overshadowed by foraging. But population pressures helped establish the idea of deliberate crops.

In the end, farms became the locus of “fully domesticated plants,” favorite grains and fruits that were dependent on human attention, said Scott. Once humankind took “that fatal step” into farming full time, the routines required set the tempo of life itself, reshaped gender roles, and became “the very center of the civilizing process.”

Harvard President Drew Faust introduced James Scott, the celebrated Yale political scientist who delivered the first of the season’s Tanner Lectures on Human Values, on May 4.
Farming also brought into a tighter sphere all of the natural things humans needed to live: fire, plants, and eventually domesticated animals, which became a sort of penned game as well as renewable sources of calories like milk, cheese, and eggs. In all, farms drew “denser and denser rings around the domus itself,” said Scott, and became a means to “relocate the natural environment” at the very door of a person’s house.

The domestication of animals — in place at first about 8,000 years ago in the case of sheep, goats, and pigs — was in part made possible by grain farming. Farm animals also became “servant foragers” of a sort, said Scott, docile beings capable of eating all kinds of inedible plant matter and turning it into calories humans could use.

The same animals could “mimic the effects of fire,” he said, by clearing land, after a fashion, and fertilizing fields.

But the “Neolithic revolution” of farming came with consequences, said Scott. He outlined a grim narrative that contradicts the one we learn in school, in which the superiority of farming is “underwritten by a powerful mythology.”

Part of that pro-agriculture myth was that “no one chose to remain nomadic,” said Scott, but in fact farming for millennia just supplemented foraging, and did not replace it.

A permanent move to farming also brought increased mortality rates, smaller bodies, bone and teeth deformities, and iron deficiencies that hit women hardest. Cultivated plants were more reliable, but they were less nutritious too. Gone also were the complex sources of calories obtained by foraging, replaced by a diminished variety of grains.

In addition, farms meant greater population density, closer contact with animals, and the attendant “heaps of pests and pathogens,” said Scott — a “perfect epidemiological storm” for humans already weakened by their increasing domestication. In all, he said, civilization’s embrace of farming meant a “slow-motion plunge” from health to disease.

But there is a paradox too, said Scott; a rise in birthrates came with the rise of agriculture. The “complex reasons” for that, he promised, would be part of today’s lecture.

Ragnarok - The Wolf Age Begins

Fjalar Crows !

And there in vision from the East,
I saw a fiery red dragon arise,
Crowned with gold and diamonds,
Snarling with a thousand missiles.

Strutting Fjalar, the scarlet rooster,
Crowed once and shook the heavens,
As Eggther strummed upon his harp,
He wept, fretting the bloody strings.

Its throne was built upon the grave of god,
Where millions lay in murders shallow sod,
And a song of screams arose from Hels Gate,
Ragnarok, Ragnarok, The Age of war and hate.

I saw the great grey wolf leap forth,
Spitting fire from its molten maw,
Roaring so loud it cracked the earth,
Whilst in the waves, the serpent stirred.

That monstrous world encircling worm,
Sent forth its black waves of death,
To ravage the lands of wicked men,
As black sun beams blighted the earth.

Through dark and deadly drifting ash,
The bark of the wolf fell over the world,
Hark, I heard all three cocks crow,
As foaming with gore, red rivers flowed.

Until at last great Surt arose afire,
Blooming bright as the new born sun,
Bursting into being where the bombs fell,
And in his wake came the ships of plague.

Boats filled with creatures, barely men,
Flesh rotting with the bomb flash curse,
Stalking our shores for flesh and food,
As orphans begged upon our famined roads.

And the dragon smiled, content with its work,
For liberty was dead, killed with its curse,
And in the wake of the war, its legions rose,
Marching on to victory upon the roads of Rome.

US, Pakistan Near Open War; Chinese Ultimatum Warns Washington Against Attack

[Translate]

Webster G. Tarpley, Ph.D.
TARPLEY.net

May 20, 2011

China has officially put the United States on notice that Washington’s planned attack on Pakistan will be interpreted as an act of aggression against Beijing. This blunt warning represents the first known strategic ultimatum received by the United States in half a century, going back to Soviet warnings during the Berlin crisis of 1958-1961, and indicates the grave danger of general war growing out of the US-Pakistan confrontation.

“Any Attack on Pakistan Would be Construed as an Attack on China”
Responding to reports that China has asked the US to respect Pakistan’s sovereignty in the aftermath of the Bin Laden operation, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu used a May 19 press briefing to state Beijing’s categorical demand that the “sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan must be respected.” According to Pakistani diplomatic sources cited by the Times of India, China has “warned in unequivocal terms that any attack on Pakistan would be construed as an attack on China.” This ultimatum was reportedly delivered at the May 9 China-US strategic dialogue and economic talks in Washington, where the Chinese delegation was led by Vice Prime Minister Wang Qishan and State Councilor Dai Bingguo.1 Chinese warnings are implicitly backed up by that nation’s nuclear missiles, including an estimated 66 ICBMs, some capable of striking the United States, plus 118 intermediate-range missiles, 36 submarine-launched missiles, and numerous shorter-range systems.

Support from China is seen by regional observers as critically important for Pakistan, which is otherwise caught in a pincers between the US and India: “If US and Indian pressure continues, Pakistan can say ‘China is behind us. Don’t think we are isolated, we have a potential superpower with us,’” Talat Masood, a political analyst and retired Pakistani general, told AFP.2

The Chinese ultimatum came during the visit of Pakistani Prime Minister Gilani in Beijing, during which the host government announced the transfer of 50 state-of-the-art JF-17 fighter jets to Pakistan, immediately and without cost.3 Before his departure, Gilani had stressed the importance of the Pakistan-China alliance, proclaiming: “We are proud to have China as our best and most trusted friend. And China will always find Pakistan standing beside it at all times….When we speak of this friendship as being taller than the Himalayas and deeper than the oceans it truly captures the essence of our relationship.”4 These remarks were greeted by whining from US spokesmen, including Idaho Republican Senator Risch.

The simmering strategic crisis between the United States and Pakistan exploded with full force on May 1, with the unilateral and unauthorized US commando raid alleged to have killed the phantomatic Osama bin Laden in a compound at Abottabad, a flagrant violation of Pakistan’s national sovereignty. The timing of this military stunt designed to inflame tensions between the two countries had nothing to do with any alleged Global War on Terror, and everything to do with the late March visit to Pakistan of Prince Bandar, the Saudi Arabian National Security Council chief. This visit had resulted in a de facto alliance between Islamabad and Riyadh, with Pakistan promising troops to put down any US-backed color revolution in the kingdom, while extending nuclear protection to the Saudis, thus making them less vulnerable to US extortion threats to abandon the oil-rich monarchy to the tender mercies of Tehran. A joint move by Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to break out of the US empire, whatever one may think of these regimes, would represent a fatal blow for the fading US empire in South Asia.

As for the US claims concerning the supposed Bin Laden raid of May 1, they are a mass of hopeless contradictions which changes from day to day. An analysis of this story is best left to literary critics and writers of theatrical reviews. The only solid and uncontestable fact which emerges is that Pakistan is the leading US target — thus intensifying the anti-Pakistan US policy which has been in place since Obama’s infamous December 2009 West Point speech.

Gilani: Full Force Retaliation to Defend Pakistan’s Strategic Assets
The Chinese warning to Washington came on the heels of Gilani’s statement to the Pakistan Parliament declaring: “Let no one draw any wrong conclusions. Any attack against Pakistan’s strategic assets, whether overt or covert, will find a matching response…. Pakistan reserves the right to retaliate with full force. No one should underestimate the resolve and capability of our nation and armed forces to defend our sacred homeland.”5 A warning of full force retaliation from a nuclear power such as Pakistan needs to be taken seriously, even by the hardened aggressors of the Obama regime.

The strategic assets Gilani is talking about are the Pakistani nuclear forces, the key to the country’s deterrent strategy against possible aggression by India, egged on by Washington in the framework of the US-India nuclear cooperation accord. The US forces in Afghanistan have not been able to conceal their extensive planning for attempts to seize or destroy Pakistan’s nuclear bombs and warheads. According to a 2009 Fox News report, “The United States has a detailed plan for infiltrating Pakistan and securing its mobile arsenal of nuclear warheads if it appears the country is about to fall under the control of the Taliban, Al Qaeda or other Islamic extremists.” This plan was developed by General Stanley McChrystal when he headed the US Joint Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. JSOC, the force reportedly involved in the Bin Laden operation. is composed of Army Delta Force, Navy SEALs and “a high-tech special intelligence unit known as Task Force Orange.” “Small units could seize [Pakistan’s nukes], disable them, and then centralize them in a secure location,” claimed a source quoted by Fox.6

Obama Has Already Approved Sneak Attack on Pakistan’s Nukes
According to the London Sunday Express, Obama has already approved an aggressive move along these lines: “US troops will be deployed in Pakistan if the nation’s nuclear installations come under threat from terrorists out to avenge the killing of Osama Bin Laden… The plan, which would be activated without President Zardari’s consent, provoked an angry reaction from Pakistan officials… Barack Obama would order troops to parachute in to protect key nuclear missile sites. These include the air force’s central Sargodha HQ, home base for nuclear-capable F-16 combat aircraft and at least 80 ballistic missiles.” According to a US official, “The plan is green lit and the President has already shown he is willing to deploy troops in Pakistan if he feels it is important for national security.”7

Extreme tension over this issue highlights the brinksmanship and incalculable folly of Obama’s May 1 unilateral raid, which might easily have been interpreted by the Pakistanis as the long-awaited attack on their nuclear forces. According to the New York Times, Obama knew very well he was courting immediate shooting war with Pakistan, and “insisted that the assault force hunting down Osama bin Laden last week be large enough to fight its way out of Pakistan if confronted by hostile local police officers and troops.”

The Shooting Has Already Started
The shooting between US and Pakistani forces escalated on Tuesday May 17, when a US NATO helicopter violated Pakistani airspace in Waziristan. Pakistani forces showed heightened alert status, and opened fire immediately, with the US helicopter shooting back. Two soldiers at a Pakistani check post on the border in the Datta Khel area were wounded.8

Possible Pakistani retaliation for this border incursion came in Peshawar on Friday, May 20, when a car bomb apparently targeted a 2-car US consulate convoy, but caused no American deaths or injuries. One Pakistani bystander was killed, and several wounded. In other intelligence warfare, Ary One television reported the name of the CIA station chief in Islamabad, the second top US resident spook there to have his cover blown in six months.

US Envoy Grossman Rejects Pakistani Calls To Stop Border Violations
US Special Representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan Marc Grossman, the replacement for the late Richard Holbrooke, on May 19 arrogantly rejected Pakistani calls for guarantees that no more Abottabad-style unilateral operations would be mounted in Pakistan.9 In refusing to offer such assurances, Grossman claimed that Pakistani officials had never demanded respect for their border in recent years.10

In the midst of this strategic crisis, India has gone ahead with inherently provocative scheduled military maneuvers targeting Pakistan. This is the “Vijayee Bhava” (Be Victorious) drill, held in the Thar desert of north Rajastan,. This atomic-biological-chemical Blitzkrieg drill involves the Second Armored Corps, “considered to be the most crucial of the Indian Army’s three principal strike formations tasked with virtually cutting Pakistan in two during a full-fledged war.”11

The Nation: A CIA-RAW-Mossad Pseudo-Taliban Countergang
One way to provide the provocation needed to justify a US-Indian attack on Pakistan would be through an increase in terrorist actions attributable to the so-called Taliban. According to the mainstream Pakistani media, the CIA, the Israeli Mossad, and the Indian RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) have created their own version of the Taliban in the form of a terrorist countergang which they control and direct. According to one account, “Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operatives have infiltrated the Taliban and Al-Qaeda networks, and have created their own Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) force in order to destabilize Pakistan.” The former Punjab Regional Commander of the Pakistani Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI), retired Brigadier General Aslam Ghuman, commented: “During my visit to the US, I learned that the Israeli spy agency Mossad, in connivance with Indian agency RAW, under the direct supervision of CIA, planned to destabilize Pakistan at any cost.”12 Was this countergang responsible for last week’s double bombing in Waziristan, which killed 80 paramilitary police?

According to the same account, Russian intelligence “disclosed that CIA contractor Raymond Davis and his network had provided Al-Qaeda operatives with chemical, nuclear and biological weapons, so that US installations may be targeted and Pakistan be blamed….” Davis, a JSOC veteran himself, was arrested for the murder of two ISI agents, but then released by the Pakistani government after a suspicious hue and cry by the State Department.

CIA Claims The New Al Qaeda Boss Lives in Waziristan
If the US needs a further pretext for additional raids, it will also be easy to cite the alleged presence in Waziristan of Saif al-Adel, now touted by the CIA as bin Laden’s likely successor as boss of al Qaeda.13 It is doubtless convenient for Obama’s aggressive intentions that Saif al-Adel can be claimed to reside so close to what is now the hottest border in the world, and not in Finsbury or Flatbush.

In the wake of the unauthorized May 1 US raid, the Pakistani military chief General Kayani had issued his own warning that similar “misadventures” could not be repeated, while announcing that US personnel inside Pakistan would be sharply reduced. In the estimate of one ISI source, there are currently about 7,000 CIA operatives in country, many of them unknown to the Pakistani government. US-Pakistan intelligence sharing has reportedly been downgraded. In response to Kayani’s moves, the CIA limited hangout operation known as Wikileaks once again showed its real nature by attempting to discredit the Pakistan commander with dubious US cable reports that he had demanded more Predator drone attacks, not fewer, in recent years.

Especially since Obama’s West Point speech, the CIA has used Predator drone attacks to slaughter civilians with the goal of fomenting civil war inside Pakistan, leading to a breakup of the country along the ethnic lines of Punjab, Sind, Baluchistan, and Pushtunistan. The geopolitical goal is to destroy Pakistan’s potential to be the energy corridor between Iran and China. Selig Harrison has emerged as a top US advocate for Baluchistan succession.

Since May 1, six reported US Predator drones attacks have slain some 42 Pakistani civilians, goading public opinion into a frenzy of anti-US hatred. In response, a joint session of the Pakistani parliament voted unanimously on May 14 to demand an end to American missile strikes, calling on the government to cut NATO’s supply line to Afghanistan if the attacks should continue.14 Since the Karachi to Khyber Pass supply line carries as much as two thirds of the supplies needed by the Afghanistan invaders, such a cutoff would cause chaos among the NATO forces. All of this points to the inherent insanity of provoking war with the country your supply line runs through.

US Wants to Use Taliban Boss Mullah Omar Against Pakistan
The State Department dropped all preconditions for negotiating with the Taliban back in February, and the US is now reported by the Washington Post to be talking with envoys of Mullah Omar, the legendary one-eyed leader of the Quetta Shura or Taliban ruling council. It is apparent that the US is offering the Taliban an alliance against Pakistan. US regional envoy Grossman is hostile to the Pakistanis, but when it comes to the Taliban he has been nicknamed “Mr. Reconciliation.”15 By contrast, the US is said to be determined to assassinate the head of the Haqqani network using a Bin Laden-type raid. The Pakistanis are equally determined to keep the Haqqani as an ally.

If China stands behind Pakistan, then Russia might be said to stand behind China. Looking forward to the upcoming June 15 meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Chinese President Hu praised Sino-Russian relations as being “at an unprecedented high point,” with an “obvious strategic ingredient.” In a press conference this week, Russian President Medvedev was obliged indirectly to acknowledge that the much-hyped Obama “reset” with Russia had amounted to very little, since the US ABM missile program in Romania and the rest of eastern Europe, so obviously directed against Russia, means that the START treaty is of dubious value, thus raising the specter of a “new Cold War.” Given the NATO assault on Libya, there would be no UN resolution against Syria, said Medvedev. Putin has been right all along, and Medvedev is trying to imitate Putin to salvage some chance of remaining in power.

Are We in July 1914?
The crisis leading to World War I began with the Sarajevo assassinations of June 28, 1914, but the first major declaration of war did not occur until August 1. In the interim month of July 1914, large parts of European public opinion retreated into a dreamlike trance, an idyllic la-la land of elegiac illusion, even as the deadly crisis gathered momentum. Something similar can be seen today. Many Americans fondly imagine that the alleged death of Bin Laden marks the end of the war on terror and the Afghan War. Instead, the Bin Laden operation has clearly ushered in a new strategic emergency. Forces which had opposed the Iraq war, from MSNBC to many left liberals of the peace movement, are variously supporting Obama’s bloody aggression in Libya, or even celebrating him as a more effective warmonger than Bush-Cheney because of his supposed success at the expense of Bin Laden. In reality, if there were ever a time to mobilize to stop a new and wider war, this is it.

The Anti-PC Way To Make Your Business Boom

As America and Britain become more diverse, the more White people will start to form their own community conscious and draw inwards into ourselves.

The overhwelming majority of White people do not like immigration - they just dont like to say for fear of being called racist.

Off them a choice though - and they will demonstrate it in other ways.

Some chefs spend their lifetimes unsuccessfully slogging away to improve business.

But all it took for Reedy Creek Diner chef Greg Simons in Lexington, North Carolina, was to put up a controversial language sign and he’s seen his sales treble.

Mr Simons put up the ‘No speak English. No service’ sign in March and says he’s received great support - with some people asking for souvenir copies to take home .

Language problems: Greg Simons, owner of the Reedy Creek Diner in Lexington, North Carolina, put up the sign saying: 'No speak English. No service'

‘All these calls I've gotten from outside the country and the U.S. have all been positive, saying things like “Good for you, don't take it down”,’ he told My Fox 8.
Mr Simons took down the sign in March after receiving a deluge of complaints at the time from people concerned it may have been racist.

It was put up after a group were offended because staff could not speak Spanish.

But Mr Simons said: ‘Everybody's money is green as far as I'm concerned. It’s a communication thing. Nobody here speaks another language other than English.’

His side: Mr Simons denied the sign was racist and said: 'Everybody's money is green as far as I'm concerned. It's a communication thing'

In fact, the sign has received so much attention that he has added a list of additional languages and makes photocopies for customers wanting to take one away.

‘Everybody's money is green as far as I'm concerned. It’s a communication thing'
Chef Greg Simons

The sign was originally in Spanish, French, Russian, Irish and German, but Mr Simons said he put it up because of an issue with a group of Hispanic customers.
Now he claims to have even had visits from people speaking foreign languages who come along with an interpreter.

One of the positive messages of support he has received said: ‘A common language is a unifier - you did nothing wrong, Mr Simons. Best wishes to you!’

Controversial: The original sign was also in Spanish, French, Russian, Irish and German - and Mr Simons has now added more languages to it

‘I'm saddened by the fact that someone might want to see a negative than a positive it's just how you look at things,’ he said.

Mr Simons began working at the Reedy Creek Diner in November 2009 before buying it eight months later but had a few ‘problems’ with Spanish-speaking customers.

A brick was thrown through a window shortly after he put the sign up, which also said: ‘God bless America and all who those who protect and serve our great country.’
Hispanic or Latino people make up 8 per cent of North Carolina's population, and last year’s 111 per cent increase was the state’s biggest ethnic group rise in a decade.

China asks US to respect Pak's sovereignty, independence

May 20, 2011, 04.59am ISTTags:Washington|US

BEIJING/ISLAMABAD: China on Thursday said the international community "must respect" Pakistan's sovereignty, tacitly confirming reports that it has asked the US not to violate Islamabad's territorial integrity, following the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Asked about reports that China has asked US during its recently concluded strategic dialogue with Washington to respect Pakistan's sovereignty as Islamabad came under heavy pressure after bin Laden's killing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Jiang Yu told media here that "sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan must be respected."

"We believe that Pakistan has made great contribution to international counter-terrorism efforts, as well as huge sacrifices. The international community should understand and support Pakistan's efforts to restore national stability and develop its economy," she said.

Gilani said the Chinese conveyed a clear message to the US that "there should be no harm to the Pakistani sovereignty and the US should understand and appreciate concerns of Pakistan."

China asked the US to work with Pakistan in improving their bilateral relations in view of the present scenario, he said.

Chinese leadership conveyed to the US that Pakistan should be helped and its honour should be upheld keeping in view its sacrifices in war on terror, he said.

He quoted Wen as saying that Pakistan faced challenges in the wake of killing of bin Laden and Chinese leadership was categorical in supporting Pakistan's stance as well as its concerns over national honour and sovereignty.

China has "warned in unequivocal terms that any attack on Pakistan would be construed as an attack on China", The News daily quoted diplomatic sources as saying.

The warning was formally conveyed by the Chinese foreign minister at last week's China-US strategic dialogue and economic talks in Washington, it said.

For his part, Gilani reiterated Pakistan's support for its policy of 'One China' and said his country fully supports China on the issues of Taiwan and Tibet.

During her briefing today Jiang skirted questions about Pakistan-China signing new defence agreements. Asked about assertions by Pakistan's Ambassador to China Masood Khan before Gilani's arrival that new defence deals would be signed, she said the two sides signed agreements in economy, technology, finance and energy resources.

"As to specific cooperation, please refer to relevant companies," she said, adding that China is actively implementing pledges to help pro-disaster reconstruction and exerting utmost to help tide over difficulties."

The EDL = the new UAF Bogeyman

Image - Gotta keep that myth of the Nazi menace alive in society so Searchlight and the UAF can make money from frightening people.

If you are really, really bored - Go onto the Lancaster Unity site.

In the last week they have published 7 articles out of 9 attacking the EDL.

If there were any proof needed that the BNP was now finished as a money making threat to scare the liberal horses, the UAF and Lancaster Unitys new obsession with the EDL proves it.

The EDL is the new cash cow boogyman.

The BNP is now about as scary as a rubber rat.

Censoring Science AGAIN

Whether you agree or disagree with him, censoring him is fascism itself.

A British-based academic was at the centre of an international race row after citing ‘research’ that claimed black women are uglier than other races.

The conclusions of Dr Satoshi Kanazawa have left one of the country’s leading universities mired in controversy for the second time this year.

Dr Kanazawa, a lecturer at the London School of Economics, has published findings based on a survey of white, Asian, black and native American men and women who were asked to rate each other’s attractiveness based on photographs.

Black women scored lowest, Asian highest.

The controversial Japanese academic, an evolutionary psychologist, concluded this is because African women have higher levels of testosterone than other races and therefore have more masculine features.

Last night the LSE responded to calls that Dr Kanazawa should consider his position by defending the academic freedom of its staff – although it admitted it had begun an internal investigation.

Not only does Dr Kanazawa fail to provide any evidence to support his conclusion, he fails to say how many people took part in the research and does not even mention the race of the women – for example whether they are Afro-Caribbean.

Nor does he explore the fact that the research on which he bases his conclusion was conducted in America where European ideals of beauty dominate.

According to Satoshi Kanazawal, 'science' would suggest Naomi Campbell is less attractive than fellow supermodel Elle Macpherson

He says: ‘The only thing I can think of that might potentially explain the lower average level of physical attractiveness among black women is testosterone.

'Africans on average have higher levels of testosterone than other races…women with higher levels of testosterone have more masculine features and are therefore less physically attractive.’

His article, published on the U.S.-based website Psychology Today, caused international outrage.

It is not the first time that Dr Kanazawa, 48, a lecturer within the department of management at the LSE, has been accused of peddling racist theories.

In 2006 he published a paper suggesting the poor health of some sub-Saharan Africans is the result of low IQ, not poverty.

Professor Paul Gilroy, a sociology lecturer at the LSE, said: ‘Kanazawa’s persistent provocations raise the issue of whether he can do his job effectively in a multi-ethnic, diverse and international institution.

Kanazawa's original post on Psychology Today, which has since been removed

‘If he announces that he thinks sub-Saharan Africans are less intelligent than other people, what happens when they arrive in his classroom?’

He added: ‘The LSE risks disrepute if it fails to take a view of these problems.’

Tokyo-born Dr Kanazawa studied in Bulgaria and gained a PhD in Sociology at the University of Arizona. He has been at the LSE since 2003 and is now on sabbatical.
He portrays himself as the scourge of political correctness and his own website carries the slogan ‘prepare to be offended’.

He once declared: ‘The only responsibility scientists have is to the truth. Scientists are not responsible for the potential or actual consequences of the knowledge they create.’

In the latest blog, which Psychology Today swiftly removed after it was posted on Monday, Dr Kanazawa uses research on physical attractiveness by Add Health, a long-running U.S. study of adolescents.

A graph used by the evolutionary psychologist, which he claims shows that black women are less attractive than those of other races

The LSE said it had begun an investigation. A spokesman said: ‘The views expressed by this academic are his own and do not in any way represent those of LSE.

‘The important principle of academic freedom means that authors have the right to publish their views – but it also gives others the freedom to disagree.’

Earlier this year it was revealed the LSE had extensive links to Colonel Gaddafi. It accepted a £1.5million donation from the Libyan dictator’s son Saif a year after he was awarded a PhD and agreed to a £2.2million contract with Libya to train its civil service.

AN INSTITUTION THAT ATTRACTS CONTROVERSY

This is not the first recent occasion that the London School of Economics has caused controversy.

Earlier this year it was revealed that the respected university had extensive links to Libyan dictator Colonel Gaddafi.

The university accepted a £1.5million donation from the dictator's son, Saif Gaddafi - a year after he was awarded a PhD - and a £2.2million contract with Libya to train its civil service.

In March, the Daily Mail revealed how an alliance of influential figures linked to the Tony Blair government and ex-MI6 spy chiefs running the LSE had promoted Gaddafi and his son in return for huge handouts to the university.

Lord Giddens, the ex-Prime Minister's intellectual guru, was LSE director in 2002 when Saif was accepted as an LSE student.

Others with senior posts at the LSE include Sir David Manning, Blair's chief foreign policy officer now involved with major energy and arms companies, his ex-chief of staff Jonathan Powell, and former Foreign Office Minister Baroness Symons - forced to stand down from Libya's National Economic Development Board this week.

Another is Sir Mark Allen, a former MI6 spy who played a pivotal role in bringing Blair and Colonel Gaddafi together.

He is a special adviser to the global consultancy Monitor Group, from which Saif Gaddafi commissioned research for his PhD - awarded in 2008 and now to be subjected to Lord Woolf's inquiry to check on its 'academic authenticity'.

Last May at the LSE, Saif delivered the Ralph Miliband Memorial lecture, dedicated to Labour leader Ed Miliband's Communist father who taught there. He told the audience he believed democracy was the best way forward for the future of Libya.

The Cops Are Criminals

Police guidelines which allow forces to retain the fingerprints and DNA samples of innocent people are unlawful, a panel of leading British judges ruled today.

The ruling was made by the Supreme Court in London nearly three years after the European Court of Human Rights reached a similar conclusion.

Judges said Government plans for changes to the law were already in the pipeline.

The 1984 Police and Criminal Evidence Act required the destruction of samples and fingerprints 'taken from a person in connection with the investigation of an offence if he was cleared', said judges.

But the law changed in 2001 and gave police the discretion to retain samples 'after they have fulfilled the purposes for which they were taken'.

The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) had gone on to issue guidelines saying 'data should be destroyed only in exceptional cases', said judges.

A panel of seven Supreme Court justices today concluded, by a five to two majority, that those ACPO guidelines were unlawful because they did not comply with European human rights legislation on rights to privacy.

The Supreme Court - the highest court in England - made the ruling in allowing appeals by two men who said police in London had unfairly retained their fingerprints and DNA samples.

Judges at the European Court of Human Rights made a similar ruling in December 2008 after allowing appeals by two men from Sheffield, who also said South Yorkshire Police had unfairly retained DNA samples.

European judges were asked to rule on the Sheffield cases after judges at the House of Lords - then England’s highest court - rejected appeals, saying retention of DNA samples did not breach European human rights privacy laws.

Judges today said the ACPO guidelines did not cover forces in Scotland, where samples could be kept only for a limited period and for certain crimes.

They said ministers were looking to create new laws to bring England and Wales into line with Scotland.

'Whether and in what circumstances the police should be able to keep the DNA samples and profiles, fingerprints and photographs of people who have been arrested but not convicted is a deeply controversial question,' said one Supreme Court Justice, Lady Hale, in today's judgment.

'The Government is promoting the Protection of Freedoms Bill, which will adopt in England and Wales the present system in Scotland. This allows retention only for a limited period and in respect of certain crimes.

'It reflects a strong popular sentiment that the police should not be keeping such sensitive material relating to 'innocent' people, even if they are allowed to use it 'for purposes related to the prevention or detention of crime, the investigation of an offence, the conduct of a prosecution'.'

She added: 'If the popular press is any guide to public opinion, the (2008) decision of the European Court of Human Rights ... is one which captures the public mood in Britain much more successfully than many of its other decisions.'

Judges said opponents of police being allowed to keep the fingerprints and DNA of innocent people argued that:

'Agencies of the state' could not be trusted to use such information 'only for permitted purposes'.
The premise that people who had been arrested were more likely to offend in future was 'unsustainable'.
Black and ethnic minority men were more likely to be arrested and therefore more likely to have data unfairly kept.
The 'stigma' suffered by someone whose records were kept - plus wider concerns about potential misuse - outweighed any benefits in the detection and prosecution of crime.

Judges said police and supporters of data retention argued that:

'Agencies of the state' would not misuse information for 'sinister' purposes.
Police would not solve some serious crimes because destruction of records would prevent investigators getting 'hits' on databases.
Any 'stigma' felt was irrational.

The two men at the centre of today's appeals were not identified - for legal reasons - in the Supreme Court judgment.

Judges said one was arrested in 2007 on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend but never charged. The other was arrested in 2009 on suspicion or rape, harassment and fraud.

He was acquitted of rape after prosecutors offered no evidence and was never charged with harassment or fraud.

In the Sheffield cases, judges said Michael Marper, who was 45 in 2008, had been arrested in 2001 and charged with harassment before the prosecution was dropped and a 19-year-old man, who could not be named, had been charged with attempted robbery in 2001, when he was 12, but later cleared.

German Laws Holocaust

It is German law that has been found guilty of Nazism, Demjanjuk was found guilty of being the Judas Goat for German war guilt and Israeli vengeance.

http://www.roytov.com/articles/demjanjuk.htm

A basic and universal principle of the legal system is equality among men. Nobody would accept a discriminating court as fair. All murderers should get the same punishment regardless their religion and ethnic group differences. All of them should get the same punishment regardless who did they kill. Assassinating an old man is a no less terrible event than killing a baby.

Northern Atlantic states often pride themselves on their legal system. In the UK it even replaces a formal constitution. Moreover, the same countries often criticize other countries on account of their different legal practices; Myanmar is a good example in this category. Northern Atlantic states have systematically imposed their judicial and political system on their former colonies; i.e. on most of the world. No questions are accepted by them on their holy system.

Everything related to the Northern Atlantic states looks bright on the Western mainstream media. You look at news reports from a western court (does Guantanamo count?) and you almost want to drop a few thankful tears for these precious institutions of Justice. Then – a tear hanging from a handy eyelash – you put together two news apparently unrelated items and the tear is pulled back into the eye faster than the speed of light. This strange effect has been reported as happening in extreme cases of awakening from Coca-Coma.

On May 12, 2011, John Demjanjuk was found guilty of helping to murder around twenty-eight thousand Jews at Sobibor in World War II, by a German court in Munich. Strangely, this was the third time the man was on trial for the same alleged crimes. In the 1980s, an Israeli court identified him as "Ivan the Terrible", a sadistic guard at Treblinka, and sentenced him to death. In 1993, his conviction was overturned after new evidence showed that another Ukrainian - Ivan Marchenko - was probably the responsible. Then, in 2002 his American citizenship was revoked after a district court judge ruled that there was sufficient reliable evidence to prove that he had been a concentration camp guard, if not at Treblinka. Later, in November 2008, state prosecutors in Munich announced they had enough evidence to prove his involvement in the murders of Jews at Sobibor. Now, he was convicted there. It seems somebody wanted him convicted somewhere, of any possible crime, regardless how many trials would he need to pass for the same events.

The Israeli part of the saga was especially interesting since it was the second instance a special law (Hok Le’Asiat Din BaNatzim) enabling the trial of Nazis had been applied. The first time was with Adolf Eichmann, who was illegally kidnapped by Mossad from Argentina. The part of special interest is that this law is a retroactive law, since the State of Israel didn’t exist during WWII. Retroactive laws cannot be accepted as fair practice, regardless the justifications used for their approval.

In the German trial, prosecutors argued Demjanjuk was recruited by the Germans to be an SS camp guard and that by working at a death camp he was a participant in the killings. No evidence was produced that he committed a specific crime. This was the first time such a legal argument was made in a German court.

This is critical. For the first time a German court recognized a person has personal responsibility for actions requested by the state. This is good. If your commander in the army orders you to kill a granny, or a mother and her children, you should refuse; Israeli soldiers recently miserably failed this test.

This is also bad. Because the German law system applied this virtuous behavior only against alleged Nazis collaborators.

When East German collapsed, I was thrilled. I could imagine the trials of the Stasi network: informants being finally accused by their victims and facing justice. The Western media had bombarded western denizens for decades with stories about the abusive soviet regimes and their bestial servants: Stasi, KGB et al. Yet, nothing happened. The extensive archives of the Stasi were shown to the public – from far away - and then no additional word was heard about the informants. Apparently they were absorbed by the unified German security services. Stasi 2 was born, a predecessor to what now is known as Stasi 2.0 – the obsessive and illegal communications surveillance performed by modern Western governments.

Judge Alt – you who had found Demjanjuk guilty based upon a noble principle of law – can you stand in front of the People and explain why the Stasi state-criminals are walking free while probably enjoying state pensions? Is the difference that you could accuse Demjanjuk of killing Jews, while there were no Jews in East Germany? Can you explain (please, I beg from you), or – as with the War on Terror - this would stay as another unsolved riddle of the wrongly called “Western Democracies?” Judge Alt, you had just began the German Law Holocaust.

The Guardian - Blondes Are Nazis

Image - a blonde person. Must be a Nazi.

Only the morons in The Guardian would write an article like the one below.

I guess they want pictures of black, deadlocked, African snow boarders to show how diverse sports like ski-ing, swimming and snow boarding and ice skating are.

I guess any images of blue eyed blondes = nazis.

I was blonde and blue eyed as a kid - I guess I was a Nazi, until my hair went red / brown and then went grey.

Twats.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/may/16/russia-winter-olympics-nazi-images

A promotional campaign linked to the 2014 Winter Olympics is stirring debate in Russia because of its use of allegedly "fascist" imagery.

The campaign employs images of blue-eyed, blond sportsmen and women which have been described by critics as "neo-Hitlerite" and "like something from a Leni Riefenstahl film".

Images of an Aryan-looking snowboarder and an ice-skater gazing into the middle distance dominate giant billboards in Moscow and feature on the cover of brochures to advertise Gorky Gorod, an elite housing complex being built at Krasnaya Polyana near Sochi on Russia's Black Sea coast. The complex is a private-public partnership which will be the Olympic media village at the 2014 Games.

"Without doubt the authors of this advertising were inspired by Nazi art," said Ekaterina Degot, a well-known art historian and former curator at the State Tretyakov Gallery.

When the billboards were put up, the Russian art collective Voina, itself known for its controversial painting of a 65-metre penis on a drawbridge in St Petersburg, tweeted: "On Pushkinskaya Square opposite Gap, there is a huge advertisement, openly fascist in style, for elite housing in Sochi."

Degot and others said the style and pose of the subjects in the images was heavily suggestive of Nazi art which stresses racial purity and superiority.

The Guardian has learned that the images of the sportsmen were produced by Doping-Pong, a St Petersburg-based design company which uses a swastika as one of its online "banners".

One of the company's recent projects is a series of erotic photographs of two young women, one called a "fa" (fascist), the other an "antifa" (anti-fascist activist), who grapple with each other in a wrestling ring and tear off each other's clothes. The "fa" appears to win the fight and triumphantly wraps herself in a Nazi flag.

Doping-Pong also works closely with Katya Zashtopik, a Russian artist in her 20s who is known for her sympathies with the ultra-right, and who uses the online avatar Dopingirl.

On 20 April, Adolf Hitler's birthday, she published a yellow "smiley" on her blog embellished with a toothbrush moustache and a slick of black hair. The caption read: "Happy Birthday."

Dima Mishenin, one of the designers at Doping-Pong, denied a report that Zashtopik was personally involved with producing the Gorky Gorod images. "It's our work, not hers," he said.

Mishenin claimed he had no sympathy with far-right ideas, but said he believed "the Olympic aesthetic starts in Berlin in 1936 and is created by Leni Riefenstahl".

He added: "For me this is about the aesthetics of beauty."

Asked about the use of Nazi iconography in his other work, he said: "When I use a symbol of culture of Nazi Germany like a swastika then, of course, I use it as a representative of the victor nation."

In an earlier interview with Russian media he said: "These symbols are trophies, like skulls on our Slavic fence."

Some observers said criticism of the Gorky Gorod images was overblown.

Artemy Lebedev, one of Russia's most famous young designers, wrote a blogpost calling the billboards "neo-Hitlerite, neo-Stalinist" but praised Mishenin for his creativity.

One 26-year-old web designer told the Guardian: "What's fascist and Aryan about it? Just because the snowboarder doesn't have a potato nose doesn't mean he couldn't be a Russian."

Mikhail Fedotov, Dmitry Medvedev's adviser on civil society and human rights, said he was troubled that a company which "played games with Nazi symbols" had been employed.

Gorky Gorod issued a statement from its creative director, Dmitry Leshchinsky, who hinted at a conspiracy to discredit the project.

"Any association with fascism is very unpleasant to us, and the opinions and methods of several 'critics' provoke exactly those kinds of associations," he said.

"The publishing of disgusting labels and the promotion of 'pasquinades' in the media; destroying and pouring dirt on everything that stands out, even by the smallest margin, from the grey mass of advertising: that is real fascism, in my opinion."

Degot said: "In itself, there is nothing forbidden about working with Nazi aesthetics if it is the basis of critical intellectual activity. However, I don't see that reflex in these compositions [on the billboards].

"This is a commercial project, openly exploring the seductive potential that the new rich see in Nazi style.

"I think that must be a reflection of the pretensions wealthy young people have to aristocracy and tradition."

A spokesman for Sochi 2014 declined to comment.

The Last Superpower

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/borisjohnson/8515705/The-world-must-speak-up-over-the-detention-of-Ai-Weiwei.html

There is only one superpower in the world today.

Its power is not based on its military strength nor economic strength.

It is not America.

It is not china.

It is Israel.

If you dare to criticise Israel, you will suddenly find your career ruined and your reputation assassinated by the various Zionist lobby groups, Zionist media puppets and Zionist politicians all of whom act as the self appointed guardians of this superpower - as each of them will awaken and leap forth to raven and attack you simultaneously until you go down on your knees and recant.

I would like to see Boris take on the Zionists and the Israel Lobby for a change - who are the agents of a real global superpower - not China, which is a country who everyone knows they can give a good kicking too in the media safe in the knowledge that nothing will happpen to them for doing so.

In modern media dominated societies, power is not derived from the barrel of a gun - but via the Zionist puppets in the Zionist media, legal and lobby Zionist groups like AIPAC and Zionist political groups like The Conservative Friends of Israel.

True power in the West derives not from the capacity to bomb the internal enemy into submision - it comes from the ability to marginalise your enemies voice, attack and smear his proponents, to censore debate in the media and via buying off corrupt politicians who then pass laws to do your bidding.

A Real Man Fights Back

http://www.kptv.com/news/27486693/detail.html

MILWAUKIE, Ore. -- A Milwaukie teen says a sex offender tried to grab her while she was walking home Thursday evening near the McLoughlin Plaza.

Police cited Douglas Quinn and are charging him with harassment. Quinn, a registered sex offender, was booked into jail on a drug warrant.

Shelby Harrington, 13, says Quinn came up asking for her name and then tried to grab her by the shoulder.

She was able to get away and use her cell phone to call her dad. That’s when the two started driving around the area looking for the suspect on their own. A few blocks away, they spotted him.

“I didn’t know what to think. (Was) he was going to have a car come around the corner or what? My first instinct was just to run and call my dad,” Harrington says.

“I grabbed him, body slammed him and put him in a nice headlock and waited till the deputies showed up,” says the teen’s dad, Brett Harrington.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office says that based on the information they had, they were only able to cite Quinn for harassment.

The Harringtons are hoping Quinn will face more serious charges

Brit-Net not the Internet

The internet is a technology that allows businesses to connect to new customers.

The problem with Britain is that those British internet businesses are primarily selling china and indian made goods.

The internet would be far better for the British economy is the people using the internet were able to buy British produced goods - that way capital is not constantly being shipped out Britain and into the global market.

Sure the internet sales are 100 billion pounds - but if 90 billion of the money is being exported out of the UK - what the hell is the point of the internet.

What we need is a British based Ebay and a British based paypal and an British based internet in order to build a British internet mechanism that buys and sells British produced goods - not a US dominated one that robs us our money.

We need ;

A British based search engine

A British based Ebay

A British Paypal

This means Brit-Net would only allow sales of British produced goods.

And at the same time we impose export restrictions on money being sent to paypal to pay for goods being imported into the UK.

If anyone sets up Brit-Net I will sue for a slice of the profits as this idea is copyright protected as I want a yacht and a mansion like the rest of the internet entrepeneurs.

Thanks a lot.

Al Qaeda and Thatchers Missing Nukes

A few weeks ago the newspapers revealed that a senior Al Qaeda operative stated the terrorist group were in possession of a nuclear bomb.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the operational commander of al-Qaeda who was detained at Guantanamo and will stand trial this year for his role as the mastermind of the attacks 11 September 2001, was the source of this claim. He said that they had a hidden nuclear facility somewhere in Europe according to documents leaked to Wikileaks.

Muhammed said that they would detonate it if Osama bin Laden captured or killed. He explained that al-Qaeda will launch an attack “nuclear hell” in the entire world if that happened. (1)

I suspect that the nukes Al Qaeda got hold of was the one of three ex-South African nuclear bombs that Margaret Thatcher ordered David Cameron to hand over to an international arms dealer John Bredenkamp in 1989.

These three nuclear weapons were sent from South Africa to Oman where Dr. David Kelly was in charge of ensuring their safety.

They were held in an unsecure military facility and were later stolen by sold on by Bredenkamp to Saddam Hussein.

These weapons were then shipped to Syria during the war against Iraq.

I suspect that one of these weapons are the ones that Al Qaeda say they have got hold of.

It means that potentially there are three nuclear weapons in the hands of Islamist terrorists.

Now many people have been saying for a while that a nuclear weapons attack would be undertaken in the US - and if it is then the nuclear weapon invlved will be one of these South African bombs.

For more on this story visit here ;

This is why Dr. David Kelly was murdered - he knew the full story about the nuclear bombs shipped from South Africa and what the British and American forces were looking for in Iraq.

They were looking for the stolen South African weapons that had been sold to Saddam Hussein by Bredenkamp.

If the full story of these bombs were exposed as the basis of the search for WMD in Iraq, then the full story of Margaret Thatcher and David Camerons role in the affiar would become known.

What does this mean.

It means that Al Qaeda have access to potentially three nuclear weapons.

It may be that the reason why Osama Bin Laden was killed last week was because these weapons have been located - and hence the blackmail threat by Al Qaeda to explode one in the event of Osama Bin Ladens death was no longer operative and hence the 'kill order' was issued to execute Osama Bin Laden - who would also have known about the history of these Al Qaeda obtained bombs.

This could be the secret note handed to President Obama by Brigadier General Wilson on April 29th, which allowed Obama to approve the execution of Osama Bin Laden.(3)

This may also be the reason why Osama Bin Laden was allowed to stay alive for so long by the US - as they must have known where he was living in Pakistan for years.

Until they either founds the bombs, or were prepared for one of the bombs to go off and exploit it politically - then they had to allow Osama Bin Laden to stay alive.

It may also be that we are about to experience a 'false flag' nuclear weapons attack in order to act as a pretext for the US or Europe to impose martial law as a result of the looming economic collapse that will destroy the entire corrupt power structures our nations.

This would also explain why the US have started to order massive amounts of anti-radiation sickness pills in anticaption of a nuclear terrorist attack (4)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said on Friday it was trying to entice someone, somewhere, into making drugs to treat people for internal radiation poisoning.

It said it had identified two compounds that could be made into safe drugs and called on companies to come up with plans for making them.

The compounds, pentetate calcium trisodium (Ca-DTPA) and pentetate zinctrisodium (Zn-DTPA), can be safe and effective for the treatment of internal contamination with plutonium, americium, or curium, the FDA said.

The Rich Do Not Create Jobs

http://www.ourfuture.org/blog-entry/2011051913/do-we-depend-rich-create-jobs

You hear it again and again, variation after variation on a core message: if you tax rich people it kills jobs. You hear about "job-killing tax hikes," or that "taxing the rich hurts jobs," "taxes kill jobs," "taxes take money out of the economy, "if you tax the rich they won't be able to provide jobs." ... on and on it goes. So do we really depend on "the rich" to "create" jobs? Or do jobs get created when they fill a need?

Here is a recent typical example, Obama Touts Job-Killing Tax Plan, written by a "senior fellow at the Cato Institute and chairman of the Institute for Global Economic Growth,"

Some people, in their pursuit of profit, benefit their fellow humans by creating new or better goods and services, and then by employing others. We call such people entrepreneurs and productive workers.

Others are parasites who suck the blood and energy away from the productive. Such people are most often found in government.

Perhaps the most vivid description of what happens to a society where the parasites become so numerous and powerful that they destroy their productive hosts is Ayn Rand’s classic novel “Atlas Shrugged.” ...
Producers and Parasites

The idea that there are producers and parasites as expressed in the example above has become a core philosophy of conservatives. They claim that wealthy people "produce" and are rich because they "produce." The rest of us are "parasites" who suck blood and energy from the productive rich, by taxing them. In this belief system, We, the People are basically just "the help" who are otherwise in the way, and taxing the producers to pay for our "entitlements." We "take money" from the producers through taxes, which are "redistributed" to the parasites. They repeat the slogan, "Taxes are theft," and take the "money we earned" by "force" (i.e. government.)

Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner echoes this core philosophy of "producers" and "parasites," saying yesterday,

I believe raising taxes on the very people that we expect to reinvest in our economy and to hire people is the wrong idea,” he said. “For those people to give that money to the government…means it wont get reinvested in our economy at a time when we’re trying to create jobs.”
"The very people" who "hire people" shouldn't have to pay taxes because that money is then taken out of the productive economy and just given to the parasites -- "the help" -- meaning you and me...

So is it true? Do "they" create jobs? Do we "depend on" the wealthy to "create jobs?"

Demand Creates Jobs

I used to own a business and have been in senior positions at other businesses, and I know many others who have started and operated businesses of all sizes. I can tell you from direct experience that I tried very hard to employ the right number of people. What I mean by this is that when there were lots of customers I would add people to meet the demand. And when demand slacked off I had to let people go.

If I had extra money I wouldn't just hire people to sit around and read the paper. And if I had more customers than I could handle that -- the revenue generated by meeting the additional demand from the extra customers -- is what would pay for employing more people to meet the demand. It is a pretty simple equation: you employ the right number of people to meet the demand your business has.

If you ask around you will find that every business tries to employ the right number of people to meet the demand. Any business owner or manager will tell you that they hire based on need, not on how much they have in the bank. (Read more here, in last year's Businesses Do Not Create Jobs.)

Taxes make absolutely no difference in the hiring equation. In fact, paying taxes means you are already making money, which means you have already hired the right number of people. Taxes are based on subtracting your costs from your revenue, and if you have profits after you cover your costs, then you might be taxed. You don't even calculate your taxes until well after the hiring decision has been made. You don;t lay people off to "cover" your taxes. And even if you did lay people off to "cover' taxes it would lower your costs and you would have more profit, which means you would have more taxes... except that laying someone off when you had demand would cause you to have less revenue, ... and you see how ridiculous it is to associate taxes with hiring at all!

People coming in the door and buying things is what creates jobs.

The Rich Do Not Create Jobs

Lots of regular people having money to spend is what creates jobs and businesses. That is the basic idea of demand-side economics and it works. In a consumer-driven economy designed to serve people, regular people with money in their pockets is what keeps everything going. And the equal opportunity of democracy with its reinvestment in infrastructure and education and the other fruits of democracy is fundamental to keeping a demand-side economy functioning.

When all the money goes to a few at the top everything breaks down. Taxing the people at the top and reinvesting the money into the democratic society is fundamental to keeping things going.

Democracy Creates Jobs

This idea that a few wealthy people -- the "producers" -- hand everything down to the rest of us -- "the parasites" -- is fundamentally at odds with the concept of democracy. In a democracy we all have an equal voice and an equal stake in how our society and our economy does. We do not "depend" on the good graces of a favored few for our livelihoods. We all are supposed to have an equal opportunity, and equal rights. And there are things we are all entitled to -- "entitlements" -- that we get just because we were born here. But we all share in the responsibility to cover the costs of democracy -- with the rich having a greater responsibility than the rest of us because they receive the most benefit from it. This is why we have "progressive taxes" where the rates are supposed to go up as the income does.

Taxes Are The Lifeblood Of Democracy And The Prosperity That Democracy Produces

In a democracy the rich are supposed to pay more to cover things like building and maintaining the roads and schools because these are the things that enable their wealth. They actually do use the roads and schools more because the roads enable their businesses to prosper and the schools provide educated employees. But it isn't just that the rich use roads more, it is that everyone has a right to use roads and a right to transportation because we are a democracy and everyone has the same rights. And as a citizen in a democracy you have an obligation to pay your share for that.

A democracy is supposed have a progressive tax structure that is in proportion to the means to pay. We do this because those who get more from the system do so because the democratic system offers them that ability. Their wealth is because of our system and therefore they owe back to the system in proportion. (Plus, history has taught the lesson that great wealth opposes democracy, so democracy must oppose the accumulation of great, disproportional wealth. In other words, part of the contract of living in a democracy is your obligation to protect the democracy and high taxes at the top is one of those protections.)

The conservative "producer and parasite" anti-tax philosophy is fundamentally at odds with the concepts of democracy (which they proudly acknowledge - see more here, and here) and should be understood and criticized as such. Taxes do not "take money out of the economy" they enable the economy. The rich do not "create jobs, We, the People create jobs.
